A quick note on the Recognition Awards from Ash

As many of you know, this September, we're doing something we've never done before at Wellgate.

We’re hosting our first-ever Recognition Awards ceremony on 9 September at The Ivy Club in the West End. A proper celebration, just for us.

We know that care work can be relentless. The brilliant things colleagues do every day, especially the patience and standards even when it's hard, tend to get absorbed into the next shift before anyone's had a chance to stop and say thank you.

These awards are our way of changing that.

If a colleague is shortlisted, they'll receive a personal note from Rob, our CEO. Winners will be invited to join us on the day. It's a daytime event, so no overnight stays are needed. Everything is taken care of: travel costs will be reimbursed, with welcome drinks and food. Just turn up and enjoy it.

We'll share all the details about the day in a future update. But for now, if you haven't nominated someone yet, please do. You've got until 31 July, and it really doesn't take long.
