May Shout Outs: Lots of colleagues across Wellgate making the list
Every month, we ask leaders, managers, team leaders and colleagues across Wellgate to tell us about the colleagues who deserve a moment in the spotlight. The ones who show up, go further than they need to, and make a real difference to the people around them.
This month we've got alpacas, Filipino Food Month, a team navigating four new move-ins at once, a Level 3 qualification, nearly four years with not a single sick day, and a whole lot of people doing brilliant things quietly, without being asked.
These are your colleagues. And they deserve to be celebrated.

Thank you to everyone who sent a Shout Out this month.
To every manager, team leader and colleague who took the time to recognise someone this month, thank you. It means more than you know.
Recognition is one of the most powerful tools we have for building a culture where colleagues feel valued, seen, and proud of their work. When someone reads their name in this update, shows it to their family, or takes a screenshot to keep, that moment matters. Research shows that feeling appreciated at work is one of the strongest drivers of how connected and committed someone feels to their team and organisation. In a sector as demanding as ours, that connection is everything.
If your name isn't on the list this month, don't worry. Every month is a fresh opportunity to celebrate someone who deserves it. We'd love to hear from you next time.
Email your Shout Out to ash.akhtar@clubwellgate.com
And while you're here...
If reading these Shout Outs has made you think of someone who deserves even bigger recognition, now is the perfect time to act.
