Meet your Club Reps helping to build a better Wellgate!
Working at Wellgate is rewarding, but it can also be demanding. We support people with complex needs, which takes patience and teamwork every day. No two days are alike; one day might go smoothly, while the next brings new challenges.
Since the work can be all-consuming, it’s easy to focus only on your own service and miss out on what’s happening across Wellgate. That’s why we have Club Reps.
Your Reps are fellow team members. Their main role is to represent you: they listen to your concerns, gather feedback, share important updates, and shout about all the great things happening in your service. They are your eyes, ears, and voice in your service and your link to the wider Wellgate community.
We have a great group of people taking on this role across our homes. Meet your Club Reps:
So, what does this mean for you?
Your Reps are your direct link to the Culture and Engagement team. They’ll meet with us regularly to share feedback about what’s happening in your services. This helps us work together to make Wellgate an even better place to work and grow your career in care.
When you see your Rep, take a few minutes to:
Learn about Club Wellgate: Ask your Club Rep about benefits or development opportunities you might not know about.
Tell them what could make things better: Instead of just talking in the staff room, share your ideas with your Rep. If there’s a process that needs fixing or an idea to make shifts run better, your feedback helps us focus on what matters.
Share your good news stories: Every day, great things are happening. We support people through big challenges. Tell your Rep about a special moment, a success with a resident, or a time you were proud of your team. We want to celebrate these stories together!
Your Reps can only represent you if you talk to them. Please say hello, share your thoughts, and help make our community stronger.
Remember, you can always contact Ash, our Club Director, at ash@clubwellgate.com.
